SAS GREATix Award

PCFR committee members and responders delivered 12 Emergency Basic Life Support sessions to 344 young people from Penicuik Athletic Youth Football Club. The sessions required significant planning and teamwork and provided young people with potentially life-saving skills. In recognition of this achievement, the group has been nominated for and awarded a SAS GREATix, acknowledging their outstanding contribution to the community.

Over the past few weeks, the Penicuik Community First Responders team delivered 12 Emergency Basic Life Support sessions to 344 young people from Penicuik Athletic Youth Football Club.

This fantastic effort has helped equip the next generation with vital, potentially life-saving skills. The commitment, teamwork and organisation shown by our responders and committee has been outstanding.

In recognition of this achievement, the team has been awarded a SAS GREATix, a well-deserved acknowledgement of the impact they continue to make in our community.
